源頼朝の弟・阿野全成（1153–1203）は、伊豆山権現の座主を務めた密教僧にして武家の実力者でした。吾妻鏡が「上総介」とも記録した彼の二重の権力構造は、日本中世における宗教と政治の融合を象徴しています。
その直系子孫である渡邉朱鷺は、伊豆山・箱根・三嶋にまたがる将軍の秘儀と、中世権力の精神的基盤を解明する研究を行っています。
比叡山延暦寺蔵の『佛身一躰灌頂鈔 附 一所三嶋參詣』（山門藏本）の全文翻刻・現代語訳を日本で初めて手がけ、学術的な公開と勉強会を通じて広く発信しています。

Ano Zensei (1153–1203), younger brother of Minamoto no Yoritomo, was both a high-ranking esoteric Buddhist monk — serving as head priest of Izusan Gongen — and a formidable military figure. His dual authority, documented in the Azuma Kagami, epitomizes the fusion of religion and political power in medieval Japan.
Toki Watanabe, as his direct descendant, conducts research to illuminate the shogunal rites spanning Izusan, Hakone, and Mishima, and the spiritual foundations of medieval power.
She is the first in Japan to produce a complete transcription and modern translation of Busshin Ittai Kanjōshō, fus. Issho Mishima Sankei (Enryakuji Sanmon manuscript), sharing this work through academic publication and study sessions.

研究中徳川家康が東海道に施した政治的・地理的戦略を、東海道原宿渡邉家に伝わる記録と地誌資料を照合しながら考察する。街道支配と権力基盤の形成における原宿の位置づけを明らかにする。Examining the political and geographic strategy Tokugawa Ieyasu employed along the Tōkaidō, cross-referencing records passed down through the Watanabe family of Harajuku post town with topographic documents. Clarifying the position of Harajuku in the formation of highway control and the power base.
研究中東海道原宿に拠点を置いた渡邉家の系譜を、鎌倉期から近世にわたって追跡する。阿野全成との血脈的連続性を一次史料・家伝資料に基づき検証し、武家と街道文化の交差点としての渡邉家の役割を明らかにする。Tracing the lineage of the Watanabe family based in Harajuku on the Tōkaidō from the Kamakura period through the early modern era. Verifying the bloodline continuity with Ano Zensei through primary sources and family documents, and elucidating the family's role at the crossroads of warrior culture and post-town culture.
研究中三嶋大社・箱根権現・伊豆山権現の三社をめぐる歴史的・地理的連関を探る。源頼朝の挙兵と幕府成立を支えた伊豆の宗教的土壌を、地域史の観点から包括的に再検証する。Exploring the historical and geographical connections among the three shrines of Mishima Taisha, Hakone Gongen, and Izusan Gongen. Comprehensively re-examining the religious landscape of Izu that supported Yoritomo's uprising and the founding of the shogunate from a regional history perspective.
